The Cirrus SR22 is an amazing plane, and I was lucky to get some stick time over the Sierras this winter!

The Flight

Here is a nice view of Yosemite. We circled over El Capitan then returned to Reid-Hillview.

This flight was in a Cirrus SR22 departing from the Bay Area and heading east over the Sierra Nevada mountains. From the co-pilot seat, the views of the snow-capped peaks, high-altitude lakes, and vast terrain are spectacular. The Cirrus is known for its side-stick control, composite airframe, and whole-aircraft parachute system.
